Who am I and what am I doing here?

First post! First post! This is mostly an experiment, because I have NO idea how much I will get to blog. Ideally, I will update daily. We shall see. I am just recently married, got back from the honeymoon on Halloween, and I am very busy trying to set up our apartment. I still have most of my stuff in my parents’ house, but at the moment there isn’t much room for it at home. So I’m trying to clean, organize, sort, and trim down excess “stuff”, all while learning how to be a blessing to my husband who works in his office in the second bedroom.

I am also trying to set up my schedule, figuring out when I will have time to work with my husband and when I can leave to volunteer at church. We are both very involved in our church, which is growing every week! I am currently mostly involved in kids and youth ministry, although I would like to be more involved in the missions board too, since missions work is near and dear to my heart.

I love knitting, but lately haven’t had as much knitting time as I would like. But (fingers crossed) I am hoping I will be able to use this site to share my ideas, WIPs, FOs, and maybe even a pattern or two. We’ll see!
